CONFIRMED: Trump Jr. Met With Russians To Get Dirt On Clinton

In 20 years, when our children look back on this whole Trump/Russia investigation, July 9, 2017 may been seen as a reflection point. That was the day that someone who had worked for the Trump Campaign, Donald Trump Jr., admitted to the media that he did in fact meet with a Russia attorney during the campaign for one main reason; she had claimed that she had dirt on Clinton and the DNC.

That’s right, the New York Times put out a bombshell report, one which uses Trump Jr.’s own words to prove that those within the campaign were seeking help from a those connected to a hostile foreign power, in order to defeat their opponent, Hillary Clinton.

The New York Times reported, that according to five different sources, Donald Trump Jr., along with campaign manager Paul Manafort and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, met with Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya. While on Saturday Trump told the newspaper that the meeting was primarily related to adoption, he changed his story yesterday.

“After pleasantries were exchanged,” Trump Jr. said, “the woman stated that she had information that individuals connected to Russia were funding the Democratic National Committee and supporting Mrs. Clinton. Her statements were vague, ambiguous and made no sense. No details or supporting information was provided or even offered. It quickly became clear that she had no meaningful information.”

In essence, the son of Donald Trump, who had a major role in his father’s Presidential campaign, admitted to meeting with at least one Russian attorney in order to receive what he thought would be damaging information to the Democrats and Hillary Clinton. He then claims that Veselnitskaya didn’t have enough information to back up her claims so it was all ‘meaningless’.  This shows that the purpose of the meeting was only to get hold of the damaging material.

While Paul Manafort and Jared Kushner have not commented on these allegation following Trump Jr.’s latest remarks, there is no reason for us not to believe the New York Times’ five sources and assume that they too were there, acting on behalf of the Trump Campaign.

We now officially have clear evidence that at least one individual in the campaign colluded with Russia in order to hurt Hillary Clinton. It will be very interesting to see how President Trump and his administration will try and explain this story away.
