Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) Testing Live Streaming Video in User’s Feeds

Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) shares are up slightly in after hours trades as the company is reportedly testing a new feature which allows users to stream live video from their smartphones onto their streams. The feature is being tested by a small number of users who are based in the United States and use Apple iPhones.

“Live video lets you show the people you care about what you’re seeing in real time – whether you’re visiting a new place, cooking your favorite recipe, or just want to share some thoughts,” Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) stated.

Shares are up $017 or 0.16% in after hours. The stock decreased 1.59% or $1.69 during the last trading session, hitting $104.38. Approximately 23.19M shares traded hands. FB shares have risen 34.66% since April 30, 2015 and are currently uptrending. It has outperformed the S&P500 by 34.86%.
