Google (GOOG) Debuts Nine New Free Designer Watch Faces for Android Wear – Stock up in pre-market trading

Alphabet Inc.’s Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) has just unveiled nine new designer watch faces by brands such as Ted Baker, Nicole Miller, Harajuku Kawaii!, ASics, Melissa Joy Manning, Mango, Vivienne Tam, Y-3 and Zoe Jordan. The watch faces are intended for wearers of Android Wear — Google’s (NASDAQ:GOOG) Apple Watch competitor.

Because the faces are entirely digital, they can all be downloaded via the Google Play Store, all entirely free of charge. This could be mass customization at its finest.

2016 should be an interesting year for both Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) and Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL), as they continue to battle each other for the high end wearables market.

Pacific Crest has a “Overweight” rating and a $820 price target on shares. Finally, Credit Suisse maintained the stock with a “Outperform” rating in a report they issued on an October 23.
