Fusion Telecommunications Int’l, Inc. (NASDAQ:FSNN) shares are trading up quite well today, continuing a trend that began a little over a week ago on December 8th. The company stock has been boosted at least partially by news of a certification announcement.

Fusion Telecommunications Int’l, Inc. (NASDAQ:FSNN) announced that its communications solution has been certified compliant with the requirement of Panasonic Systems Communications Company of North America. This means that customers of Panasonic will now be able to utilize Fusion’s cloud-based SIP Trunking solution without the need of purchasing new or additional hardware.

The stock is up 15.95% or $0.44 following the news, hitting $3.2 per share. About 708,852 shares traded hands or up 250.74% from the average. FSNN has declined 20.90% since May 14, 2015 and is currently downtrending. It has underperformed the S&P500 by 18.64%.
