While many smartphone manufacturers already have technology available for wireless charging, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is reportedly taking things a step further. While this seems like it could be a major technological hurdle, reports indicate that the company may in fact be closer to such an accomplishment than many have thought. If all goes well Apple could be ready to unveil their wireless charging technology sometime next year. The main obstacle to overcome will be the loss of power associated with charging a device from a distant.
