Walt Disney’s (DIS) ‘The Good Dinosaur’ Expected to Top the Box Office This Holiday Weekend

As Thanksgiving rolls around the corner, Walt Disney’s (NYSE:DIS) latest Pixar movie, ‘The Good Dinosaur’ is expected to top the box office. The second Pixar film to be released by the company this years, ‘The Good Dinosaur’ is expected to bring in $54 million over the two-day weekend, and $74 million over the four-day holiday weekend perio, according to Box Office analyst Phil Contrino.

If these estimates are correct, this should put the film firmly atop the Box Office, over ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay’ and the Warner Bros. film, ‘Creed’

The stock is up 0.79% or $0.93 after the positive news, hitting $118.88 per share. About 2.85 million shares traded hands. DIS has risen 8.21% since April 23, 2015 and is uptrending. It has outperformed by 9.34% the S&P500.
