Kellyanne Conway’s Dislike For Trump Could End Up Being a Valuable Asset to Democrats if She’s Fired

One has to wonder what it might be like to work for the country’s most powerful man, Donald Trump. Whether you are a Democrat or Republican, you have to admit that Trump’s staff has had it harder than any other presidential staff we’ve seen thus far. Sean Spicer and Kellyanne Conway have been targets of many jokes over the past several months for comments that they have made, which either haven’t made a lick of sense or have been blatantly false.

That’s what happens when you work for a President who throws political correctness out of the window like a two-year-old throws tantrums. One has to wonder if President Trump’s staff even supports his decisions, or for that matter, even likes him as a person.

A quite telling story came out on Monday, when “Morning Joe” hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough said that KellyAnne Conway secretly dislikes President Trump, after they overheard her speaking quite negatively about him after an interview had ended.

“This is a woman, by the way, who came on our show during the campaign and would shill for Trump in extensive fashion and then she would get off the air, the camera would be turned off, the microphone would be taken off and she would say ‘blech I need to take a shower,’ because she disliked her candidate so much,” Brzezinski explained.

“‘I have to take a shower because it feels so dirty to be saying what I’m saying,’” she continued, mockingly quoting Conway. “I guess she’s just used to it now.”

This isn’t the only evidence that points to Conway’s apparent negative attitude towards the President. Prior to taking a position on Trump’s staff, Conway made many media appearances in which she blasted Trump for the way he had acted and his opinion on certain matters. A few examples can be read below:

“I’d like to see those [Trump’s tax returns] be transparent” – Kellyanne Conway to CNN.

“He says he’s for the little guy, but he’s actually built a lot of his businesses on the backs of the little guy.”

“If he wasn’t worried about them (Cruz & Kasich), why not just ignore these two people he thinks aren’t actual competitors? I think they got under his skin today.”- In talking about Trump’s debate with Cruz and Kasich.

“Do I want someone who hurls personal insults or who goes and talks about philosophical differences?” – In speaking about potential Trump voters having to make a decision about who to vote for.

One has to wonder what role exactly has Conway played for the Trump administration over the past couple of months since she has pretty much lost most of her public speaking privileges. Why does Trump even keep her on board? Is she more of an asset in the office of the President than if she were to step down and suddenly begin speaking to the media again? Perhaps Trump realizes that if she were to be terminated, she knows too much about the White House’s inner workings that it would come back and haunt him.

There has been speculation over the past couple of weeks that a major shakeup could occur within the White House, with rumors that Conway, Spicer, Priebus and Bannon could all be on the hot seat. Certainly Democrats would love to see these three individuals lose their jobs, as it could potentially open up a can of worms that could benefit the left significantly. If it is indeed true that Conway disagrees with much of what Trump says and does, her honesty could end up completely unraveling the Trump administration.
