Most of America is now aware of the events that took place yesterday in Indianapolis, Indiana, where the Colts took on the San Francisco 49ers. In a game which saw the Colts narrowly defeat the 49ers by a score of 26-23, Vice President Mike Pence was the one to grab the headlines, despite the Colts honoring the greatest player in team history, Peyton Manning.
Vice President Mike Pence attended the game with his wife Karen, and after players on the field knelt in protest during the National Anthem, Pence and his wife stood up and left the stadium. This was all on taxpayer dollars, which reportedly cost Americans close to $250,000.
Prior to the game, Pence posted a message on Twitter, along with a photo which appears to show him and Karen at the game (seen below).

Upon closer inspection, however, and thanks to a Reddit user named PrettyTarable, the photo that Pence posted, supposedly at the game yesterday, is actually the same photo Pence posted back on November 23, 2014 at a Colts vs. Jaguars game. That post can be seen below.

Questions remain as to why the Vice President would go out of his way to dig up an old photo when he could have simply just taken a new one himself. Perhaps he was having a bad hair day and forgot his hat, or perhaps there were too many people protesting behind him for him to take a decent looking selfie. We don’t know, but it is rather strange.
