Netflix has revealed that Judd Apatow’s latest romantic comedy, called ‘Love’ will debut on the streaming service starting on Feb. 19, 2016. Apatow, who has garnered fame from TV series such as ‘Freaks and Geeks,’ and ‘Girls,’ has also hit it big with movies such as ‘Bridesmaids’ and ‘Get him to the Greek’. According to Netflix, the first season of ‘Love’ will consist of 10 episodes, and they have already signed on for a second 12-episode season that will debut sometime in 2017. The comedy stars Paul Rust as ‘Gus’ and actress Gillian Jacods as ‘Mickey’. The two lovers are exact opposites, and this becomes apparent throughout the series.
The stock is down 4.37% or $4.99 following the news, hitting $109.39 per share. About 18.23 million shares traded hands or 22.60% up from the average. NFLX has declined 81.67% since May 29, 2015 and is downtrending. It has underperformed the S&P500 by 78.66%.
