Ford Motor Company (F) Being Investigated by the Feds for Potentially Faulty Ford Focus Doors


There have been a number of complaints over the past couple years about issues that Ford Focus owners have been having with their vehicles’ doors. So far 73 complaints have been filed claiming that Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F)’s Focus model has issues with their doors. Apparently these doors are having problems remaining shut, as complaints report that they do not remain securely latched.

Some Focus owners claim to have had to tie their doors shut just so they could drive their vehicles while others have given up using their cars altogether due to the issue. So how many Ford Focus vehicles would need to be recalled if in fact this issue is found to be legitimate? Estimates say around 400,000 2012 and 2013 vehicles.
