This Fox Segment May Be The Final Dagger in The Trump Presidency

Outrage continues this morning, following yesterday afternoon’s earth-shattering press conference by President Trump, in which he once again equated those protesting hate and white supremacy to the Neo-Nazis who violently attacked numerous individuals.

Throughout the first 7 and a half months of Trump’s Presidency, the morning show, Fox & friends, has been one of his staunchest supporters, but this morning the tables turned in a big way. As host Abby Huntsman tried to steer a conversation towards the President’s remarks on whether statues of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson should be removed since they were slave owners themselves, the guests unexpectedly captured the hearts of Americans everywhere.

A young Republican African American man named Gianno Caldwell, who is a special correspondent for numerous cable news channels, including Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, BET, VH1, and others, broke down in tears as his emotions boiled to the surface almost instantly.

“Our president has literally betrayed the conscience of our country. He has failed us,” Caldwell stated, as he explained how he didn’t sleep well last night following Trump’s remarks.

Caldwell, who reached out to the White House himself, asking that Trump address the nation in “distinct terms,” then went on to claim that anyone who tries to defend the President’s remarks yesterday is “morally bankrupt”.

“Mr. President, good people don’t pal around with Nazis and white supremacists. Maybe they don’t consider themselves white supremacists and Nazis, certainly they hold those views. I hope the president learns a lesson from his press conference on yesterday. It’s disturbing,” Caldwell stated.

It’s hard not to watch this man speak and feel the anger, heartbreak and fear that he must be feeling after the debacle of a press conference that Trump participated in yesterday afternoon. It’s ironic that this single video, from none other than right-leaning Fox News, has gone viral as Americans of every race, religion, and political party unite to fight hate.

While this video may not end the Trump Presidency, it will could play a major role in sparking the beginning of the end. Already there have been calls by many political pundits for Trump cabinet members to step down in protest. Things could really begin to snowball fast if cabinet members heed such calls.  Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
