The acquisition has taken place as an “all cash” deal and it is valued at $130 million. Willbros will be receiving $122.5 million at closing and the balance of $7.5 million which will be paid in the near future.

Vincze. “We anticipate a rapid and smooth integration. Our sales development teams already have begun working on new project opportunities, and clients are applauding the introduction of our new platform.
Shares of Willbros Group (WG) are up 9.76% or $0.29 after the news, hitting $3.26 per share. About 172,549 shares traded hands. WG has risen 12.93% since April 28, 2015 and is uptrending. It has outperformed by 13.82% the S&P500.
