BREAKING: Trump Wants to Team With Putin to Prevent “Election Hacking”

Many of us knew that President Trump was unfit for office even before he was elected back in November, we just didn’t understand how incredibly unfit he may actually have been. Today, in a series of tweets discussing his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 Summit, Trump has seemingly sided with Putin over his own intelligence agencies.

“I strongly pressed President Putin twice about Russian meddling in our election. He vehemently denied it. I’ve already given my opinion. We negotiated a ceasefire in parts of Syria which will save lives. Now it is time to move forward in working constructively with Russia! Putin & I discussed forming an impenetrable Cyber Security unit so that election hacking, & many other negative things, will be guarded and safe. Questions were asked about why the CIA & FBI had to ask the DNC 13 times for their SERVER, and were rejected, still don’t have it. Fake News said 17 intel agencies when actually 4 (had to apologize). Why did Obama do NOTHING when he had info before election?” The President tweeted.

Wait, what??? Did the President of the United States, the country which had our democracy undermined by Russia, just say that he’s in favor of forming a cyber security unit with Russia, in an effort to prevent election hacking? Yes, President Trump really just tweeted this. Trump then went on to blame Obama once more for not doing more about the attacks? Does any of this make sense to anyone?

How can Trump blame Obama for not doing more (note that Obama did impose increased sanctions on Russia, while expelling diplomats), while he, at the same time, decides it’s a good idea to work with the country who attacked our democracy, in an effort to prevent future attacks on our democracy?

Multiple US intelligence agencies and the heads of those agencies, both past and present, have stated unequivocally that Russia hacked the 2016¬†election. For the President of the United States, to not only take the word of the leader of this hostile nation over his own intelligence officials, but to then throw it back into the Intelligence Community’s faces by deciding to team with this hostile nation in the prevention of future attacks, is not only unfathomable, but also borderline treasonous.
