Russian Attorney Fears for Life Following Trump Meeting, Will Testify

If fear is any indication of the seriousness and potential criminal discussions which took place between the Trump administration and agents of the Russian government on June 9, 2016, then things are only starting to get interesting.

You may recall a story we did just two days ago, concerning Trump associate Rob Goldstone, who was one of the 8 individuals at the now infamous June 9 meeting. According to a close friend, Goldstone was “terrified” of being assassinated following the news breaking about the aforementioned meeting. If that alone wasn’t enough to make one speculate what may have been discussed between Kremlin associates and Trump’s campaign team, then this following tidbit of news will be.

In video interview with Russian state-funded news network RT on Tuesday, Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya — another individual who is confirmed to have been in attendance at the June 9 meeting — is willing to testify in front of the Senate. This comes under one condition though; the safety of her and her family.

Veselnitskaya told RT that she is ready to “clarify the situation” in regards to the meeting under the one major condition of “safety”.

“I’m ready if I’m guaranteed safety because today I have to think about my safety first and foremost, about the safety of my family, my four children,” she explained to RT. “If the Senate wishes to hear the real story, I will be happy to speak up and share everything I wanted to tell Mr. Trump last year.” (see video below)

If in fact the Trump/Russia meeting was simply a “nothingburger” like those on the far right would like to believe, then why would two of the key witnesses be so fearful of their lives? Both publicist Rob Goldstone and Attorney Natalia Veselnitskay are seemingly afraid of what could happen to them if they were to tell the truth about what was discussed in the meeting.

With the 8 individuals who were at the meeting now identified, undoubtedly Special Counsel Robert Mueller will try his best to individually question each one, in order to build an accurate synopsis of the meeting. With the possibility of criminal charges emerging, it’s hard to believe that not one of these individuals will be willing to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth to investigators. Those who lie will ultimately be the ones facing the worse possible outcomes.
